A static QR code encodes your content directly — it works offline and never expires. A tracked QR code routes through our servers so we can count scans, log locations, and show you analytics.

Can I change the URL my QR code points to?

With Pro and Business plans, yes. URL swapping lets you change the destination without reprinting the QR code. This is perfect for real estate signs, event materials, or seasonal promotions.

What happens when my free tracking expires after 90 days?

Your QR code keeps working — people can still scan it and reach your URL. You just won't receive weekly scan reports anymore. Upgrade to Pro to resume tracking with no expiry.

Do I need to sign up to use the QR code generator?

No. Static QR codes are generated entirely in your browser with no account needed. You only need an email if you want scan tracking.
